Dear Campers,

We send this note with a heavy heart.  Due to the complexity of the Covid 19 virus and the goal of opening up our campus this fall, Connecticut College has suspended all events, camps and conferences for the remainder of 2020.  We will begin to issue refunds this week.

Unfortunately, we will not be able host or run the Connecticut College Soccer Soccer Camp this summer.  Our camp has become a summer highlight for 45 years and a big part of Southeastern Connecticut's rich soccer history.  So many of us were former campers who are now bringing their sons and daughters back to camp.  Over the years this camp has seen campers go on to be high school standout, college all-stars, and community leaders.  Our camp is also a great way to bring our towns and soccer teams together to play, enjoy, and teach the beautiful game.  We also take great pride in having our community work together with our current Connecticut College soccer players.  This camp has motivated our college players to be their best and we believe, in return, our players have helped inspire the campers to keep reaching for their dreams.

And speaking of return... return, we will in 2021!   Until then, on behalf of the Connecticut College Soccer Camp Staff we encourage you to keep a ball at your feet, stay motivated to be your best, and remain inspired by the beautiful game until we can work together again in the summer of 2021.

Yours in Soccer,

Reuben Burk & Norm Riker
