Scoffone Tabbed to USC All-American Fourth Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Connecticut College men's soccer senior forward Matt Scoffone (Thornton, Pa.) continued to bring in recognition after being named a United Soccer Coaches All-America Fourth Team selection, as announced by the organization on Thursday.

The forward has appeared in 20 games on the season, making 19 starts. The senior attacker leads the Camels in scoring with a career-best 10 goals, including two tallies in the NCAA Tournament.

"This is another hug honor for Matt," said head coach Reuben Burk. " With being a two-time All-American, he has now cemented his place among the best players who have ever graced the program. The whole team was so pumped when we found out at the NCAA Final Four Banquet last night. We are so happy for him!"

Scoffone earns his second consecutive All-American honors after being named to the Third Team last season.

Conn College currently sits at 13-2-7 on the year. The Camels are back in the NCAA Final Four for the second time in program history as Conn takes on Washington and Lee in the National Semifinals on Thursday night at 9:00 p.m. Eastern in Las Vegas, Nev.
